“Deep crimson in colour with a complex bouquet of ripe mulberry and blackcurrant fruits, with some leafy notes adding freshness. Medium bodied palate, dominated by juicy red and black fruit notes, and a refreshing tobacco leaf edge. Balanced by a firm but fine tannin backbone, fresh acidity, and elegant, classic, bright red fruit characters. Drink now or cellar for 5 to 12 years.”

Oakdene is a boutique, family owned vineyard located on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula, about an hour south of Melbourne. Surrounded by water on three sides, the region’s cool maritime climate offers excellent conditions for producing low yields of high-quality fruit.
