Description
“You may ask why our wine is known as Ronda? The answer is simply because our barrels were chalk-marked RO (Rouleur), NDA (Nero D’Avola)..
With fruit sourced from a single vineyard near Maslins Beach in McLaren Vale, the Zerella home block is carefully farmed and known for growing quality Nero D’Avola. We love working with this fruit and feel that Nero D’Avola is a ?rising star? grape variety with a bright future ahead in the earlier ripening sites of coastal McLaren Vale. Ronda 2019 presents layers of red fruits, cherry cola and umami- like spice. This vintage has a touch more weight and juiciness than prior years, it’s a 2019 vintage thing? over winemaking. The palate is typically intense, with lovely ripe cranberry fruit, sour cherry tang, elegant tannin and saline minerals to finish.”
